To deposit funds into your securities trading account using a virtual account at BIDV Bank, please follow the instructions below:
The structure of the virtual account is as follows:
SSV + Trading Account Number + Sub-account Code
Example:
Customer Nguyễn Văn A has a trading account number 081C000111 and wishes to deposit funds for securities trading.
- To deposit into the regular trading sub-account (00), Mr. A should enter the transaction details as: SSV081C00011100
- To deposit into the margin trading sub-account (01), Mr. A should enter the transaction details as: SSV081C00011101
Note: Your name will be displayed automatically if the virtual account number is entered correctly.
I. DEPOSITING FROM A BIDV BANK ACCOUNT
Method 1: Using the Fund Transfer Function
Step 1: Log in to your BIDV internet banking account
Step 2: Select “Internal Transfer within BIDV”
Step 3: Enter your virtual account number issued by SSV
Step 4: Enter the deposit amount, verify the information, and complete the transfer
Method 2: Using the “Securities Deposit” Service
Step 1: Log in to your BIDV internet banking account
Step 2: Select “Securities Deposit”
Step 3: Choose “Shinhan Securities Vietnam” as the service provider
Step 4: Enter your virtual account number as the “Customer Code”
Step 5: Verify the details and complete the transaction
II. DEPOSITING FROM OTHER BANKS
Step 1: Log in to your internet banking account at any other bank
Step 2: Select “Transfer” or “Fund Transfer”
Step 3: Choose the beneficiary bank as BIDV
Step 4: Enter your virtual account number as the “Customer Code” or “Beneficiary Account Number”
Step 5: Review the information and complete the transaction
CUSTOMERS MUST USE INDIRECT INVESTMENT CAPITAL ACCOUNT (IICA) FOR DEPOSIT TO SECURITIES ACCOUNT
Foreign investors have an indirect investment capital account (IICA) at Shinhan Bank or BIDV connected to securities account at SSV, if customers need to deposit/ withdraw money, please contact the bank which you opened IICA account.

Customers are kindly requested to fill out and sign the deposit/transfer slip as instructed by the bank staff, or use internet banking to make the transfer as guided below:

Mr. Nguyễn Văn A has a trading account number 081C000111. To deposit funds into his account for securities trading, Mr. A should complete the deposit slip with the following details:
- Account Name: Shinhan Securities Vietnam Limited Company
- Account Number: 700.005.805.718 at Shinhan Bank Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh Branch
- Description/Remarks: 081C000111 - Nguyễn Văn A
Note
· If you forget to include your full name or trading account number, SSV will call you to confirm the information using the phone number you registered when opening your account.
· After the deposit or transfer is completed, the money will be added to your securities trading account.
· You will receive a notification of the updated balance by SMS or email, sent to the contact details you provided when registering with SSV.
1) Online Withdrawal:
Step 1:
– Log in to your securities trading account via WTS/HTS/MTS and follow the steps below:
1. Select the “Cash Transaction” tab
2. Click “Withdrawal Request”
3. Select sub-account “00” or “01”
4. Choose your registered bank account
5. Enter the withdrawal amount
6. Click “Submit Request”
Note:
- Withdrawal requests must be submitted before 4:00 PM. After this time, the request will be automatically cancelled, and you will need to re-submit it on the next trading day.
- The receiving bank account must be your own and must be registered with SSV when you opened your securities trading account.
Step 2:
– Once your request is received, SSV will deduct the amount from your securities account and transfer it to the selected bank account.
Step 3:
– A notification confirming the deduction will be sent via SMS or email to the contact information you registered with SSV.
2) Withdrawal at the Counter:
Step 1:
– Visit SSV before 3:30 PM on a trading day with your ID card or passport. Fill in and sign the Withdrawal/Transfer Request Form as guided by the staff.
Step 2:
– If you request cash withdrawal, after completing the procedure at SSV, you will receive the money at Shinhan Bank Vietnam.
– If you request bank transfer, after completing the procedure, the amount will be deducted from your securities account and transferred to the bank account you specified on the form.
Step 3:
– A notification confirming the deduction will be sent via SMS or email to the contact information you registered with SSV.
