- Provide legal advice to the Members’ Council, Board of Management, and business units to ensure compliance and support business objectives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal documents, and licensing dossiers.
- Conduct legal reviews and assessments of products, services, and core business activities (e.g. brokerage, margin lending, proprietary trading, investment banking, operation).
- Develop, review, and update internal regulations, policies, procedures, and templates.
- Identify, assess, and provide recommendations on legal risks arising from business operations.
- Coordinate with Risk Management and Compliance functions to ensure proper legal risk control and regulatory compliance.
- Support dispute resolution matters and coordinate with external counsel in litigation or legal proceedings when required.
- Monitor, analyze, and disseminate legal and regulatory updates relevant to the Company.
- Fulfill the information disclosure obligations as required.
- Provide legal support for strategic projects, new business initiatives, and corporate restructuring activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager or Management.
- Degree:
Graduated from a law university.
Having a Securities Practicing Certificates is a significant advantage.
Having a law practice certificate is preferred.
- Others:
- At least 3-5 years of direct experience in a securities company, fund management company, or commercial bank.
- A comprehensive knowledge and law of enterprise, securities company, other relevant laws.
- Ability to research and analyze the regulations. Ability to cope under pressure.
- Having problem solving skill, numerical and analytical skill, a good eye for detail.
- Excellent experienced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
- Good English in speaking, writing and reading.
- Working time: 05 days/week (Monday to Friday).
