Global stocks fell again, the contrast in PMI data just released for major economies increased concerns about the Central Bank raising interest rates. The Dow Jones lost 697 points, the S&P 500 shed 2% and the Nasdaq sank 2.5% on Tuesday as a renewed surge in Treasury yields and disappointing forecasts from heavyweight retailers added to concerns that inflation and higher interest rates have started hurting the purchasing power of US consumers.
Domestic stocks cooled down, profit-taking pressure prevailed. In January 2023, Vietnam's seafood export turnover reached 456 million USD, down 48% over the same period in 2022.
