Global stocks diverged. Europe - US markets recovered slightly after the previous strong decline week while in Asia most of them dropped. Not much news dominated the week and the main concern still revolved around the big central banks just raised interest rates. Although the growth rate has slowed down, the interest rate level is still at a high level, close to the period of the 2008 financial crisis.
Domestic stocks trade cautiously before the holiday. HSBC forecasts that the SBV will raise the refinancing rate by 50 basis points in the first quarter of 2023 and the second quarter of 2023, raising the refinancing rate to 7.0% by mid-2023.
