Global stocks traded struggling. Hawkish speeches from several Federal Reserve policymakers last week dashed hopes of a pause in the central bank's tightening cycle. Among them, St. Louis Fed President James Bullard was the most drastic, warning that tightening conditions have only had a modest effect on inflation and suggested that the federal funds rate could reach the 5% to 7% range.

Domestic stocks returned to the green after a series of consecutive days of decline. According to data from the General Department of Customs, in the first 10 months of 2022, export turnover of goods was estimated at $312.94 billion, up 16% over the same period last year.
