Global stocks had a mixed trading week, with the gain mostly coming from the European-American market, while the negative level was dominated by the Chinese market. Wall Street extends gains despite less positive data from tech stocks. The optimism about the USD, the cooling of bond yields along with the expectation that the major central banks will ease the monetary tightening, created motivation to help the index continue to conquer higher level.

Vietnam's stock market had a volatile week, when there were many rumors that affected investor sentiment. The index sometimes lost the threshold of 1,000 points to 960 points but was balanced and closed the week in green.
