On April 1st, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision 262/QD-TTg, approving the Plan for Implementation of the National Power Development Plan for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. The Plan aims to effectively implement Decision No. 500/QD-TTg dated May 15, 2023 of the Prime Minister approving the PDP VIII.

Main contents of the Implementation Plan for the Power Development Plan VIII:

1. List of priority, renewable, and other power source projects by 2030.

2. Capacity and renewable power source projects allocated to localities/regions by 2030.

3. List of grid projects, transformer stations, and total investment capital to be implemented by 2030.
