Highlights:

At the 2024 Online Conference on Boosting Bank Credit held on February 20, leaders of many commercial banks requested that the State Bank of Vietnam continue to extend Circular 02/2023/TT-NHNN on debt restructuring and debt deferral for another 6 to 12 months to help both customers and banks have better conditions for debt repayment.

Technical view: On the weekly chart, VNINDEX closed at 1,212 (+2.3 points, +0.19%) but profit-taking pressure appeared strongly on Friday along with a sharp increase in liquidity. Price momentum indicators all show that a correction is underway. The market is expected to retest the 1200 area corresponding to the EMA 20 in the coming week.
