Morning call - Cash flow pivots


On Thursday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.97%, the S&P 500 gained 1.25%, and the Nasdaq Composite added 1.3%. This came despite data showing that initial jobless claims rose for the second straight week to a two-month high, while labor costs slowed and layoffs surged.


VNINDEX closed 1,172.3 (-0.47 points, -0.04%) with increased liquidity. The group of stocks contributing to the market's rising momentum includes VCB, FPT. On the contrary, the group of stocks contributing to the market's decline is BID, VPB, CTG. Industry groups increase and decrease with strong differentiation. The technology and retail services group increased the most in the 6th session. Foreign investors were slight net sellers, while proprietary traders were net buyers.
