US stocks ended mixed as Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said the central bank is likely to raise interest rates further. Treasury yields fell while gold hit its lowest level in more than three months.
The market gained 4.2 points (0.35%) to close at 1,138.35 points. The market suddenly found the old fulcrum of banking stocks. Yesterday afternoon, these codes prospered significantly thanks to the strong inflow of money. If only banking stocks on HoSE, today's liquidity jumped more than 43% compared to the previous session, most of them successfully reversed to increase.
