US stocks had a mixed week ahead of the US Federal Reserve Policy Meeting next week. Especially after the number of jobless claims increased more than expected, to the highest level since October 2021, leading to speculation the Fed might pause rate hikes.

Vietnam stock market: Vietnam market had an active trading week, increasing 6.21 points (0.56%) and closing at 1,110.53; however, foreign investors continued their net selling trend. Last week's liquidity was the highest since the beginning of the year, notably, VCB became the main support when the market price exceeded 100,000 VND/share.
