- In the Thursday session, The VN-Index reversed under selling pressure owing to the investors’ profit-taking actions. The red vibe spread among sectors, with the trading volume being at record level.

- At the end of the session, the VN-Index decreased 8.22 points, equivalent to -0.74%, reaching 1,101.32 points; HNX-Index declined 3.55 points (-1.54%), reaching 226.78 points. 

- Technical view: The VN-Index's 5 consecutive upward streak was terminated in today's session due to the selling pressure of investors and the liquidity reaching a high level above the 20-day average, causing the VN-Index to close at Bearish Engulfing candle pattern.
