U.S. stocks closed higher in Tuesday's session as investors awaited inflation data and next week's Federal Reserve policy meeting. Inflation data is expected to show consumer prices down slightly from last month but underlying prices are likely to remain elevated and the Fed is expected to keep rates unchanged.

Vietnam market increased 10.49 points (0.96%) to close 1,108.31 points, foreign investors net bought again after 5 consecutive net selling sessions. The securities industry group attracted money in VND, SSI,.. when the number of newly opened securities accounts increased sharply; the growth momentum of the banking group has slowed down.
