The session ended sharply lower on Tuesday and short-term Treasury yields jumped as investors worried about the lack of progress in the debt ceiling negotiations.

VNINDEX dropped -4.79 points (-0.45%), due to strong selling pressure from VN30; Foreign investors continued to net sell more than 600 billion dong. A series of stocks fell deeply with high liquidity and the general market decreased compared to the morning session.
