- The stock market fell today. Market breadth was on the downside with 505 losers, outnumbering more than 300 gainers.

 - At the end of the session, the VN-Index dropped 5.15 points (-0.48%), reaching 1,069.45 points; HNX-Index dropped 2.10 points (-0.99%), reaching 209.84 points.

- Technical perspective: The MACD is tending to cut down the signal line along with the RSI dropping to 50, meaning that the index is in a short-term correcting phase after the previous gaining sequence. It is reasonable for the market to cool down to reinforce the trend. The bright spot on the daily chart is an uptrend signal between MA20 and MA50, but the index needs a breakout session from resistance at 1,080 points to confirm the gaining momentum. Therefore, the appropriate strategy is to hold and only increase the weight when the index breaks resistance.
