Global stocks diverge. US stock futures slipped in post-holiday trade on Tuesday as investors remain cautious about the prospect that the Federal Reserve will have to raise interest rates further to tame inflation, heightening the risk of a recession. Dow and S&P 500 futures fell 0.3%, while Nasdaq 100 futures lost 0.1%. Asian stocks were green when the Central Bank of China (PBoC) decided to keep the basic lending rates for 1-year and 5-year terms unchanged.
Domestic stocks rebounded strongly with large order matching, signal of "Follow Through Day”. Governor of State Bank: There will be a credit package of VND 120,000 billion for social housing development. Besides, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong also said that there is no separate credit room for real estate. This helps investors expect this to be the first step to revive the real estate market.
