Global stocks recovered, China is expected to open its border with Hong Kong. Hong Kong Chief Executive Li Jiachao said the special zone would reopen its border with mainland China in mid-January 2023, speeding up the removal of strict epidemic prevention rules that are hindering economic growth.

Domestic stocks lost 1,000 points. SK Group denied rumors of selling shares and said "no intention to withdraw from Vietnam".
