Market Report Week 46 - Continuing to be out of phase, green is ignoring Vietnamese stocks
12/11/2022
Summary
Global stocks continued their gains from the previous week. US inflation data showed CPI slowed more than expected in October, raising hopes that the Federal Reserve will become less aggressive on interest rate hikes. This optimism quickly spread across major markets.
Vietnam stocks had a consecutive week of decline, the negative was still dominated by Real Estate. The oversold movement at the floor price of more than ten million shares in NVL and PDR raised concerns about the unknown in the money flow in the market. Although there are still bright spots, these seem to be overshadowed and pessimism continues to dominate investor sentiment.
