Opposite with the global market, Vietnam stock market started the new year wonderfully as stocks skyrocketed, major indexes reached new all-time highs. Particularly, VN Index created a new peak at 1536.24 thank to the robust breakout of VN30 group. Closing the week, VN Index totally gained 30.20 points or +2.0% and narrowed from the peak to 1,528.48. At the same time, HNX Index and UPCOM had fabulous departs for the new year as returning 4.2% and 2.6% respectively.
