Short-term decline. VNINDEX closed at 1,580.54 (-18.56 points, -1.16%) with liquidity lower than the 20-session average. The market had 131 gainers and 176 losers. The stocks that put the biggest downward pressure on the market were VHM, FPT, CTG; the stocks that supported the market were HPG, TCB, SSI. Foreign investors reduced their net selling, selling about 176 billion VND. HPG attracted attention when foreign investors net bought 405 billion VND.
