The VNINDEX closed at 1,282.78 points (-1.75 points, -0.1%) with lower-than-average trading volume over the past 20 sessions. The market saw 171 gainers and 228 decliners. Stocks contributing to the market's increase included SSB, TCB, and CTG, while HPG, VNM, and VCB weighed on the market. Most industry groups gained strongly. Foreign investors net sold over 470 billion dong
