In regular trading on Tuesday, the Dow and S&P 500 rose 0.08% and 0.13%, respectively, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.1%. Those moves came as investors weighed whether the recent market rally has more legs, while caution dominated sentiment ahead of further central bank commentary.

VNINDEX closed at 1,248.63 points (+7.05 points, +1.68%), with liquidity slightly lower than the previous session. The market had 251 gainers and 178 losers. The groups of stocks that contributed to the market's decline included BID, CTG, and TCB. On the other hand, the groups of stocks that contributed to the market's gain included HPG, FPT, and VNM. Foreigners continued to net buy about VND 120 billion.
