In regular trading on Thursday, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite rallied 0.74% and 1.68%, respectively as investors prepared for the unofficial start of the first quarter earnings season, with major banks set to release their latest quarterly results today. The release of the Producer Price Index data today provided some relief as prices increased slightly less than expected

VNINDEX closed at 1,258.20 (-0.36 points, -0.03%) with liquidity sideways compared to the previous session. The market had 150 green stocks and 308 red stocks. The group of stocks contributing to the market's decline included VCB, TCB, and LPB. On the other hand, the group of stocks contributing to the market's increase were BID, HPG, and FPT. Foreigners net bought lightly at around 43 billion VND.
