Despite the weakening of the Chinese real estate market, the Vietnamese steel market still has a positive recovery in domestic and export demand. In addition, the situation of imported steel from China has been a concern for domestic steel enterprises. However, in September 2024, strong stimulus measures from the Chinese government were issued, expected to boost the real estate market, thereby supporting the recovery of the steel industry, while reducing the amount of Chinese steel imported into Vietnam.
