In regular trading on Tuesday, the Dow rallied 1.85% for its best day since June 2023, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite gained 0.64% and 0.2%, respectively. Retail sales in the US stalled in June from May 2024, following an upwardly revised 0.3% rise in the previous period.

VNINDEX closed at 1,281.18 (+1.36 points, +0.11%), liquidity returned to the 20-day average. The market has 211 green codes and 215 red codes. The group of stocks that contributed to the market's increase included BID, MBB and VCB, whereas HVN GVR and NVL contributed to the market's decrease. Industry groups are divided in this session. Foreign investors net sold about VND 235 billion.
