The S&P 500 was up 0.4%, the Nasdaq gained 0.7% and the Dow Jones rebounded on Monday, positioning the three indices to reach new record highs. Traders continue to await further clues on when the Fed will start cutting the interest rates, with appearances from several Fed officials and FOMC minutes this week expected to offer more insights

VNINDEX closed at 1,277.58 (+4.47 points, +0.35%) with better liquidity than the previous session. The market has 264 green codes and 174 red codes. Stock groups contributing to the market's increase include BCM, VPB, and HPG. On the contrary, the group of stocks contributing to the market's decline were FPT, VHM and VJC. Foreign net selling is about VND -819 billion.
